Enjoy the fresh air and our friendly horses at Chief’s Stable Adventures. Our goal is to fulfill dreams, create smiles, and administer a wonderful horseback riding experience. We are so much more than a Horse Farm. I am a professional Horseman and retired US Army Warrant Officer (3) with the knowledge and experience to teach horsemanship techniques in tailored lessons appropriate for each age, ability, and level of experience. I understand the selection of suitable horses and ponies to include their care and training. It is essential for the success of our riders at Chief’s Stable. If you are looking for a great way to spend your next family day, or even if you just happen to be in the area, we appreciate your support. Please call 24 hours in advance if possible to ensure a reserved time tailored for your family’s next great horseback riding experience. If no reservation is made there is a first come first serve service by appointment only. Thanks for your support and patience.
Trail Ride

Chief’s Stable Adventure is a rural property that is wooded and backed up to Rockfish Creek. We can currently provide 45 minutes of tranquil trail riding.

Private Lessons
Call for scheduling.
Introduction - Learn to safely approach, halter, and lead a horse, learn to groom, tack, mount, and dismount, introduction to riding aids, learn correct riding position and balance exercises, introduce walking and trotting, practice utilizing riding aids in steering exercises, trail riding.
Intermediate - Know parts of the tack, learn the two-point position and posting at the trot, learn to canter, introduce sitting trot, improve and strengthen two-point position, improve use of all riding aids in steering and gait transitions, trail riding.
Advance - Tacking independently, increase strength and body position at walk, trot, and two-point, introduction to no stirrup work at the walk and trot, improve the use of all riding aids, begin cantering individually, and introduction to leads.
